RED PASTA

RED SAUCE PASTA RECIPE: Red Sauce Pasta Recipe is primarily made from penne pasta. We can prepare the red sauce at home with accessible components like tomatoes, garlic, onion, basil, herbs, etc. It is a quick, easy and mouthwatering recipe.

INGREDIENTS_

for pasta sauce:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 finely chopped onion 
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp mixed spices
  • a little pepper powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce

 

INSTRUCTIONS_

boiling pasta:

  • First, in a large pan boil water and add some salt.
  • Add pasta when the water boils.
  • simmer until the pasta is cooked.
  • Separate pasta from water.

 

red pasta sauce preparation:

  • firstly, in a container with hot boiling water, add tomato.
  • boil for a few minutes.
  • drain off and peel the skin of the tomatoes and make a paste and keep aside.
  • now, in a pan, heat garlic add chili flakes, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • add oregano and stir for a minute.
  • add tomato paste and stir until thoroughly mixed with oil.

 

Preparing Pasta:

  • in a large frying pan, take 2 tbsp olive oil and saute garlic.
  • add some vegetables like onion, capsicum, and broccoli, and saute well.
  • further add 1 tsp chili flakes, 1 tsp mixed spices, a pinch of pepper powder, and ½ tsp salt. Saute well.
  • now add tomato puree (made with 4-5 tomatoes and some red chilies), 2 tbsp tomato sauce, and pasta sauce, and mix well.
  • cook until the tomato puree is cooked completely.
  • now add in boiled pasta and blend well.
  • At last, grate some cheese and enjoy red sauce pasta.
